I showed my music video, digipak and
webpage to a group of nine year 12 psychology students, I did not have a video camera to film the feedback i received from them so i asked them to write it down pieces of paper and we discussed it as a group. This is the feedback i received from them :
Most feedback i received suggested that they enjoyed the storyline in the music video and they understood it. They also said that the digipak and the music video links very well through the images and the colour scheme.
Although majority of the group suggested that the lyrics weren't really links properly. They suggested that "the artist should have learned to mime" because there were odd sections were they couldn't tell if she was singing. The prop the artist was holding during the performance section was also said that "it would have been better if the artist strummed the guitar more to make it look realistic"
I was also told that i should have changed a picture on the digipak to be black and white in order for it to look like the music video

I wrote down further detailed comments i received during the interview of my focus group:
"I really enjoy the change of colouring in the video, I think it was really good at keeping the audience really engaged and also it put emphasis on certain parts of the song almost like the narrative was more about her looking back and the performance was present as it was in colour. I think the location is so great as well as it matches the mood of the lead singer and made it more soulful with the dark background recounting on how the man she dearly feels for doesn't notice her. But I did think it was a little repetitive
and seemed to just involve shots of the lead singer, so if you were to
improve on anything I'd say more location shots to show how much she is around him and still doesn't get his attention"
